Macinaggio, which takes its name from its windy mulini, is the main port of Cape Corso. It was used as a military port by the Romans until ancient times.
During the Settlement Years, when the State incorporated the creation of tourist ports, the port of Macinaggio was founded in the upper part of Cape Corso.
